No Injuries After Tour Bus Bursts Into Flames

The San Francisco Fire Department has doused a fire that erupted on a tour bus with passengers aboard shortly after 6 p.m. today a few blocks north of the Financial District, a department dispatcher said.

The passengers were evacuated from the bus and no one was injured in the blaze, which happened on Broadway Street between Front and Davis streets, the dispatcher said.

The burned bus will be towed away from where it is parked on Broadway, the dispatcher said.

The cause of fire is unknown at this time, the dispatcher said.
