Man Shot Outside His Mission District Home

A man was shot in the arm in San Francisco’s Mission District early Saturday morning, police said today.

The shooting was reported at 1:06 a.m. in the 1100 block of Alabama Street, which is near 23rd Street.

The 38-year-old victim was outside of his home when he heard gunshots, then realized he had been shot in the arm, police said.

The victim flagged down a taxi and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, according to police.

No suspect information was immediately available in connection with the shooting, police said.
