BART trains have resumed regular service after an equipment problem caused significant delays for BART riders traveling between SFO and Pittsburg/Bay Point this morning, according to BART officials.

At about 5:30 a.m., BART officials announced that commuters should expect a delay of up to 20 minutes at the downtown San Francisco stations in the Pittsburg direction due to equipment problems at SFO.

According to BART officials, trains resumed regular service at about 6:15 a.m.
