Alleged Probation Violator Arrested In Fillmore Nightclub Attack

A man was arrested after allegedly attacking and robbing a couple outside a nightclub in San Francisco’s Fillmore District early Sunday morning, a police spokeswoman said today.

Dee Andre Bolton, 27, was arrested in connection with the robbery, which was reported at 2:04 a.m. in the 1300 block of Fillmore Street, police spokeswoman Officer Tracy Turner said.

The victims, a 28-year-old man and 27-year-old woman, were walking out of the club when a suspect made romantic overtures toward the woman, according to police.

The suspect and male victim then got into an argument and the suspect threw him to the ground, then stomped on him and kicked him in the face and head, police said.

During the attack, two other suspects grabbed the woman’s purse and the trio then fled, heading south on Fillmore Street, according to police.

Bolton, a San Francisco resident, was found a short time later in the 1100 block of Fillmore Street with the help of descriptions from witnesses, Turner said.

Police believe Bolton was the suspect who stomped on the male victim, and he was booked into jail on suspicion of attempted homicide and probation violation, Turner said.

The male victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which included a broken nose and jaw, missing teeth and other facial trauma, police said.

The other two suspects remained at large as of this afternoon and were described as men between 25 and 30 years old, Turner said.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is encouraged to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” in the message.
