A police van struck a man in San Francisco’s South Beach neighborhood early this morning, San Francisco police spokeswoman Officer Tracy Turner said.
The approximately 40-year-old man, whom police believe was intoxicated, was hit around 5 a.m. near Spear and Howard streets after walking into the roadway.
The man was taken to a hospital to be treated for minor lacerations, Turner said.
