SFPD Seeking Woman Who Pepper Sprayed Muni Driver

San Francisco police are seeking a woman who pepper-sprayed another woman on a Muni bus on Tuesday afternoon, then sprayed the driver.

The incident was reported at about 12:25 p.m. at 11th and Mission streets.

The suspect and the victim, a 39-year-old woman, were arguing on the bus when the suspect pepper-sprayed the victim in the face, police said.

The suspect then sprayed the bus driver, a 59-year-old man, in the face and got off the bus and fled, according to police.

Police said the suspect is between 35 and 40 years old. She had not been found as of this morning.

The two victims were taken to the hospital to be treated for eye irritation.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” in the message.

I think this article’s writer should specify if the picture of the woman in the picture is a surveillance picture. If it isn’t, well they need more description than an age. If it is, there should be a picture caption.

On Board Muni less than 72 hours ago I am appalled at the Criminal Riff-Raff environment. They come in through the back door no Clipper Card in use.
Who can afford to pay for this volume of parasites? No wonder the City and County of San Francisco financially hijacks the entire Bay Area one way or another. Muni Drivers sit petrified in their seats, the reality of self preservation means say nothing.
SFPD please come in through that same back door on the Muni and set things in order. The contrast between this city and its suburbs is so conspicuous. As soon as we leave town it is like an escape back to civilization.
