Firefighters have controlled a one-alarm residential fire near Lawton Alternative School in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset neighborhood, a fire department employee said.
The blaze was reported at 10:01 a.m. in the 1500 block of 30th Avenue, between Lawton and Kirkham streets. It was controlled at 10:32 a.m.
No injuries were reported, the employee said.
A San Francisco Unified School District spokesman said school is out for the summer at Lawton and that it does not appear the campus was affected by the fire.
