Folks complaining about nothing to do once the final notes ring out at Golden Gate Park’s Outside Lands need complain no longer: a slew of evening shows have been announced from the kick-off night-before jams all around town to the very groovy Superjam to close out the festival at the Independent. The Superjam idea comes from the highly successful collaborative music experience seen at Bonnaroo, Outside Lands’ sister festival also put on by Superfly and Big Hassle Media.

Rather have your funny bone tickled at the fest than venture out to the mass chaos of the awaiting city? The highly successful Barbary tent has returned stronger than ever. Catch a bit of music a la Julie Klausner’s Cabaret Situation and see heavy-hitters Maria Bamford, Eugene Mirman and more throughout the weekend.
