Woman Critically Injured In Tenderloin Stabbing

A woman was found critically injured from a stabbing in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood on Thursday night, police said today.

Officers responded to a 911 call around 8:30 p.m. regarding a woman who had collapsed on the sidewalk in the 400 block of Turk Street, which is near Hyde Street, and suffered multiple stab wounds to the torso, according to police.

The 45-year-old victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for her injuries, which are considered life-threatening, police said.

No arrests had been made in the case as of this morning and no detailed suspect description was immediately available from police.
