9:39 AM: One person was hospitalized after a car drove into a home in San Francisco’s Bayview District early this morning, a fire official said.

The driver apparently lost control of a vehicle while driving through the 1300 block of Keith Street and hit a house around 5:25 a.m., the official said.

That block is steep and the driver had difficulties on the hill, the fire official said.

After the car went into the house, one person in the car was transported to the hospital.

PG&E and building inspectors were called to the damaged house, according to the fire official.
