Bullets Fired Into Western Addition Home

San Francisco police are trying to identify a person who fired several shots in the city’s Western Addition neighborhood on Sunday night, including one in which the bullet broke a window and became lodged in the wall of a home.

The shooting was reported around 9:15 p.m. in the 1800 block of Eddy Street, which is near Scott Street. No one was hit by the gunfire, and the shooter was seen fleeing in a black sedan, according to police.

Anyone with information about the shooting is encouraged to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” in the message.
