The body of a woman in her 20s or 30s was found this morning at Point Reyes National Seashore near Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, a National Parks Service spokesman said.
The body was found around 9:45 a.m. in the area of Platform Bridge Road, NPS spokesman John Dell’Osso said.
The National Park Service has asked the Marin County Sheriff’s Office to lead the investigation of the woman’s death, Dell’Osso said.
