A male victim was shot in San Francisco’s Bayview District Monday afternoon, a police spokesman said.
The shooting was reported at about 2:50 p.m. in the first block of Latona Street, police spokesman Officer Carlos Manfredi said.

The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not believed to be life-threatening, Manfredi said.
No suspect information was immediately available, Manfredi said.
