Firefighters have extinguished a small kitchen fire at a residential building on San Francisco’s Market Street, a fire department employee said.

The blaze was reported at 1:36 p.m. at a three-story building at 2255 Market St., between Sanchez and Noe streets.

The fire has been put out and no injuries were reported.

Traffic was partially blocked on Market Street as crews responded.
