9 AM: A one-alarm fire at a home in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood was extinguished in about 20 minutes this morning, according to fire officials.

The fire was reported at 6:46 a.m. at 120 Holladay Ave.

Initial reports indicated that an occupant of the single-family home was possibly inside the building, but firefighters searched the house and determined that everyone had made it out safely, fire officials said.

The fire was contained to the home’s garage, and was extinguished at 7:08 a.m.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation, according to fire officials.

7:40 AM: Firefighters are battling a one-alarm house fire in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood this morning, fire officials said.

Multiple callers reported the fire, located at 120 Holladay Ave., near Cesar Chavez Street and Potrero del Sol Park, at 6:46 a.m., according to fire officials.

Fire officials said one of the callers reported that a neighbor was still inside the building and an aggressive search of the home is still underway.

The building is a wooden structure and the fire appears to be coming from the garage area, fire officials said.
