shooting_nighttime.jpgA woman was injured in a shooting at the Alice Griffith public housing complex in San Francisco’s Bayview District early Sunday morning, police said today.

The shooting was reported at 4:07 a.m. in the 2400 block of Griffith Street.

A woman around 40 years old was sitting in a vehicle with two men when a silver vehicle pulled up and someone inside the car opened fire, according to police.

The woman was hit in the leg by the gunfire, which also struck a nearby apartment, police said. She was taken to a hospital to be treated for her injuries, which were not life-threatening.

No arrests had been made as of this morning, police said.
