Everyone’s favorite place to find themselves on the witness list of a nasty fight is now at war with health inspectors, it seems. As Uppercasing reports, since C. C. Yin first acquired the McDonald’s on Haight and Stanyan, complaints of health violations have plagued the fine fast food establishment.

From open trash wafting its way through the former Hippie mecca to rats potentially eating their own kin… erm, I mean… Big Macs, McDonald’s is reportedly on a nasty roll and certainly not making any friends with its neighbors.

Property owner Katherine Roberts, whose rental properties on Beulah run near and behind the McDonald’s parking lot, is seeking advice on dealing with the perennially disgusting fast food joint. Already residents have been giving their input on the Uppercasing post, including “concerned4haight”, who notes that Roberts previously faced neighborhood issues of her own, as detailed in an appeal requesting a moratorium to two illegal units.
