President Obama To Dine At Getty Mansion Next Week

President Barack Obama is coming to the Bay Area for four separate fundraising events next week—two held by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in San Francisco on April 3 and two held by the Democratic National Committee in Atherton the following day.

Obama will be visiting the house of asset manager and Democratic fundraiser Tom Steyer for a reception on April 3, followed by a dinner that night at the home of philanthropists Ann and Gordon Getty, according to party officials.

On April 4, the president will travel down the Peninsula to Atherton for a brunch at the home of Liz Simons and Mark Heising, with tickets costing $32,400, according to the invitation on the DNC’s website.

His last fundraising event will be a lunch at the home of Marcia and John Goldman, which will cost $1,000 for the cheapest tickets.

Obama last visited the Bay Area in October as he was raising money for his re-election campaign.
