Person Struck And Killed By BART Train At Glen Park Station

A person who was struck by a BART train at the Glen Park station in San Francisco this afternoon has died, an agency spokeswoman said.

The person was hit around 4 PM by a BART train at the station, BART spokeswoman Alicia Trost said.

Medical personnel responded and pronounced the person dead at the scene minutes later, Trost said.

Authorities are investigating the incident, and trains did not stop at the Glen Park station until shortly after 6 PM.
