Girls at a Belmont high school donated hundreds of feminine hygiene products today to help women in the Tenderloin with no money to buy them, according to the St. Anthony Foundation.

The donation from Notre Dame Belmont, an all-girl’s Catholic school, was made today in honor of International Women’s Day, foundation officials said.

Students at the school, who collected the items over the past month, also created a video that brings attention to the plight of low-income women.
