policeblotter_sfa.jpgA woman was kicked in the head during a robbery near the Caltrain station in San Francisco on Monday night, police said today.

The robbery was reported at about 10:10 p.m. near Fourth and King streets.

Two male suspects approached the 28-year-old victim and pulled on her purse, causing her to fall to the ground, according to police.

The suspects then began kicking the woman in the head until she gave up the purse, which contained her wallet, keys and other items, police said.

The suspects then fled and had not been found as of this morning.

The woman was taken to a hospital to be treated for her injuries, which were not life-threatening.

Anyone with information about the case is encouraged to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411.
