On Saturday and Sunday the Chinese New Year Flower Fair will be held in Chinatown from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday.

The following street closures will be required from 11 p.m., Friday to 11 p.m., Sunday:

?? Grant Avenue from Clay Street to Broadway
?? Pacific Avenue from Columbus Avenue to Stockton Street
?? Jackson Street from Stockton Street to Kearny Street
?? Washington Street from Stockton Street to Kearny Street
?? Intersections: Jackson Street at Grant Avenue, Washington Street at Grant Avenue and Pacific Avenue at Grant Avenue
?? All alleys within the boundaries of the larger closure will also be closed

The following Muni routes will be affected:

?? 10 Townsend
?? 12 Folsom-Pacific

Street Closure for Building Construction
Beginning 11 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Monday, 5th Street between Market and Mission streets will be closed for building construction work.

To direct traffic during the closure, there will be flaggers or SF Police Officers will be on site at the intersection of Market, Mission and Howard streets on 5th Street. Motorists travelling in this area are advised to allow extra travel time and to use alternate routes including 4th, 6th and Howard streets.

The following Muni routes will be affected:

?? 27 Bryant
?? 8X Bayshore Express
?? 30 Stockton
?? 45 Union-Stockton
?? 91 Owl

Vietnamese Tet Festival
On Sunday the 17th annual Vietnamese Tet Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday on Larkin Street.

The following street closures will be required from 1 a.m. to midnight.

?? Larkin Street from Eddy Street to O’Farrell Street
?? Ellis Street from Hyde Street to Polk Street
?? Willow Street from Polk Street to Larkin Street
?? Olive Street from Polk Street to Larkin Street
?? Intersections: Larkin and Ellis streets, Olive and Larkin streets and Willow and Larkin streets

The 19 Polk Muni route will be affected.

San Francisco Half Marathon
On Sunday the 30th annual Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon will begin at 8 a.m. The race begins and ends in Golden Gate Park and is accompanied by a 5K Run which stays completely in the Park.

The following street closures outside of Golden Gate Park will be required from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Each street will be reopened as the last runner goes through.

?? Oak Street from Stanyan Street to Baker Street
?? Fell Street from Stanyan Street to Baker Street
?? Baker Street from Oak Street to Fell Street
?? Masonic Street from Oak Street to Fell Street
?? Stanyan from Oak Street to Fell Street
?? Kezar Drive from Waller Street to JFK Drive

Both northbound and southbound Great Highway from Fulton Street to Skyline Boulevard will be closed from 8 a.m. to noon.

The following Muni routes will be affected:

?? 18 46th Avenue
?? 23 Monterey
?? 33 Stanyan
?? 43 Masonic
?? 44 O’Shaughnessy

Super Bowl Game
On Sunday the San Francisco 49ers will play against Baltimore Ravens at the Super Bowl game in New Orleans, LA. The game will begin at 3 p.m., Pacific Standard Time.

In order to minimize potential service disruptions related to the Super Bowl festivities, Muni will be detouring buses in the following areas after 5:00 p.m. on Sunday:

?? The 5-Fulton, 9-San Bruno, 71-Haight/Noriega, and the F-Line will operate on Mission Street between Van Ness Avenue and the Ferry Building unless otherwise noted. Buses will operate on the F-Line all day.

?? The 2, 6, 21, 31, 38, and 38L will terminate before Market Street. Passengers should transfer to the subway or other routes for service to Embarcadero.

o 2-Clement will terminate at Sutter and Sansome streets

o 6-Parnassus and 21-Hayes will terminate at 9th and Mission streets

o 31-Balboa will terminate at Mason and Eddy streets

o 38-Geary and 38L-Geary Limited will terminate at Cyril Magnin and Eddy streets

?? The 14-Mission, 14L-Mission Limited, and 49-Van Ness/Mission will operate on South Van Ness Avenue between 11th and 25th streets.

?? 30-Stockon buses will use Lombard Street between Webster and Divisidero streets.

?? 45-Union/Stockton will use Lombard Street between Franklin and Steiner streets.

?? Cable Car service will be provided by bus on the California Line and on Powell Street.

Bus stop and detour signage will be posted for planned detours. Detours will last until the end of the day or as disruptions clear. Additional detours may be necessary if issues arise.
