49ers.jpgFormer San Francisco 49ers executive Louis Spadia died Sunday at the age of 92.

Spadia, who spent more than three decades with the team, became a part owner and served as the team’s president from 1967 to 1976, according to the 49ers.

In addition to his work with the 49ers, Spadia founded the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame in 1979, and served as its president and CEO until 2003.

His funeral service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Feb. 26, at Saint Pius Catholic Church, located at 1100 Woodside Road in Redwood City.
