The outbound 49-Van Ness/Mission bus struck the pedestrian around 9:20 a.m. while heading south on Mission Street near 14th Street, Muni spokesman Paul Rose said.

The woman, who is in her 50s, was taken to the University of California at San Francisco Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening, San Francisco police spokesman Officer Carlos Manfredi said.
