monopoly_money.jpgPolice are trying to identify two suspects who robbed a bank in San Francisco’s Richmond District on Friday morning.

The robbery was reported around 11:30 a.m. in the 6000 block of Geary Boulevard, which is near 24th Avenue.

The pair entered the bank from a back door and one suspect approached a teller, told everyone to get on the ground and pointed a handgun at the victims, according to police.

He then had two employees take him to the bank’s vault where he was given cash. The two suspects then fled south on 24th Avenue, police said.

No one was injured in the robbery.

Anyone with information about the case is encouraged to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411 with “SFPD” in the message.
