booze.jpgAccording to numbers released by the San Francisco Police Department, drunk driving arrests dropped nearly 20 percent during the final days of 2012.

During the holiday “crackdown” period of December 14th to New Year’s Day, police officers made made 102 DUI arrests. According to SFPD, during the same period in 2011, 129 arrests were made.

The next DUI crackdowns are planned for Super Bowl Sunday (that’s February 3) and again on St. Patrick’s Day (Sunday, March 17).
