San Francisco Municipal Railway is reporting residual delays after a service disruption caused by a person on the tracks between the Montgomery and Powell stations this afternoon, a Muni spokesman said.
Muni officials received reports that a person was walking on the underground tracks between the two stations at about 12:55 p.m., spokesman Paul Rose said.
Service was shut down for 20 minutes as police searched the area, Rose said.
Police said the trespasser was not found.
Rose said around 1:25 p.m. that service was back to normal, but that riders should expect some residual delays.
No injuries were reported.
