shooting_nighttime.jpgPolice are searching for a suspect who shot a male victim in the back in San Francisco’s Tenderloin district early this morning.

According to police, at approximately 2 a.m. the victim arrived at St. Francis Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to his back, following a shooting in the 600 block of Polk Street, which is near Turk Street.

The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital in stable condition, according to police.

Police said the victim has not yet been able to provide officers with suspect information.
The shooting remains under investigation.
