shooting_nighttime.jpgA man was shot in the leg in San Francisco’s Mission District early Saturday morning, police said today.

The shooting was reported at 2:25 a.m. at 16th and Mission streets.

The 31-year-old victim was standing at the intersection when he was shot. Three suspects fled in a silver, four-door vehicle, according to police.

The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries, which were not considered life-threatening, police said.

No arrests had been made in the case as of this morning. Anyone with information is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or to send a tip by text message to TIP411.
