sfpd_squad.jpgA man was pistol-whipped during a home invasion robbery in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood early Tuesday morning, police said today.

The robbery was reported at about 3:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Taylor Street, which is near Turk Street.

The victim was at home when four suspects came into the residence.

One took out a gun and struck the man in the head with it, police said.

The suspects, described as two men in their mid-20s and two women, ransacked the home, stealing the victim’s cellphone and credit cards.

They fled and had not been found as of this morning, police said.
