shooting_nighttime.jpgA 12-year-old boy and a man were struck by gunfire on San Francisco’s Embarcadero a short time before the New Year, police said.

Shots were fired on the Embarcadero near Pier 23 around 11:30 p.m., striking the boy in the foot and grazing a man in the hip, according to police.

Both victims are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said there is no suspect description.
