BikeLane.jpgA female bicyclist was injured in a collision with a vehicle on San Francisco’s Great Highway on Sunday afternoon, police said today.

The crash was reported at about 1:50 p.m. on the oceanside road between Lincoln Way and John F. Kennedy Drive.

A vehicle heading north on Great Highway turned left into a parking lot and crossed in front of the 55-year-old bicyclist, who was riding south, according to police.

The bicyclist struck the car and suffered a broken nose and a concussion, and complained of shoulder pain. Her injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

No other details about the collision were immediately available today.
