police-light-bar1.jpgParamedics performed CPR on a suspect who attempted to flee from police and resist arrest late Thursday night in San Francisco’s Outer Richmond district, according to police.

At about 11:25 p.m., police attempted to stop a suspect near the intersection of 37th Avenue and Fulton Street.

The suspect fled from officers on foot and resisted arrest. Following a foot pursuit, officers took the suspect into custody, police said.

Once in custody, the suspect began to have a medical emergency and police requested assistance from paramedics.

Paramedics performed CPR on scene and the suspect was transported to a hospital with a life-threatening condition, police said.
