A Muni bus struck a pedestrian on Market Street in San Francisco Wednesday evening, according to police.
A bus struck the pedestrian at about 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Sixth and Market streetas, causing serious injuries.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation, police said.
