The Dew Tour, a free 4-day action sports and lifestyle festival will begin on Thursday and conclude on Sunday. The Dew Tour Toyota City Championships will be held at the Civic Center Plaza until Saturday whereas the streetstyle events will take place on Sunday on Harrison Street, between Fremont and Spear streets.

Civic Center venue: The following street closures will continue until time specified:

Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place between McAllister and Grove streets will continue to be closed midnight, Sunday.

Grove Street between Larkin and Polk streets will continue to be closed until Wednesday, Oct. 24

During the street closures, the following detours will be in effect:

From west on McAllister Street, south on Van Ness Avenue, east on Grove Street and back on to Polk Street; or

From east on McAllister Street, south on Hyde Street and to 8th Street.

Harrison Street Venue: Harrison Street between Fremont and Spear streets will be closed starting 8 p.m., Friday until 5 a.m., Monday.

Off-ramp traffic from Bay Bridge for Harrison Street and The Embarcadero will be detoured:

No right turn will be allowed onto Harrison Street

Motorists should continue north on Fremont Street, make a right turn to Folsom Street and continue onto The Embarcadero

Motorists should expect traffic delays around the event areas.

Potrero Hill Festival and Street Fair
On Saturday the 23rd annual Potrero Hill Festival and Street Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 20th Street between Wisconsin and Missouri streets.

The following street closures will be required from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.:

20th Street between Wisconsin and Missouri streets
Missouri Street between 19th and 22nd streets
Intersection of Missouri at 20th streets

The 10 Townsend Muni route will be affected.

Lower Haight Urban Air Market
On Saturday the Urban Air Market will be on Haight Street between Webster and Pierce streets from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Haight Street between Fillmore and Pierce streets will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The following Muni routes will be affected:

71 Haight-Noriega

Fiesta on the Hill
On Sunday the 24th annual Fiesta on the Hill Bernal Heights’ Street Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The following street closures will be required from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.:

Cortland Avenue from Folsom Street to Bocana Street
Andover Street from Cortland Avenue to Ellert Street
Moultrie Street from Cortland Avenue to Jarboe Avenue
Intersections of Cortland Avenue and the following: Gates Street, Ellsworth Street, Anderson Street, Bennington Street, Wool Street, Andover Street and Moultri Street

The 24 Divisadero Muni route will be affected.

Excelsior Arts and Music Festival
On Sunday the 10th annual Excelsior Arts and Music Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Mission Street.

The following street closures will be required from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.:

Ocean Avenue between Mission and Alemany streets
Persia Avenue between Ocean Avenue and Mission Street
Ruth Street between Watson and Mission streets
Intersection: Persia and Ocean avenues

The following Muni routes will be affected:

14 Mission
14L Mission Limited
49 Mission-Van Ness

49ers Football Game
On Thursday the San Francisco 49ers will host their seventh home game against the Seattle Seahawks starting at 5:20 p.m. at the Candlestick Park.

Motorists should expect delays on all bridges and freeways leading into San Francisco for at least two hours before the start of the game and for at least two hours after the end of the game. Fans attending the games are encouraged to take public transportation.

Muni offers several ways to get to Candlestick Park from locations throughout San Francisco. There are four Muni Express routes and two Shuttles.

The Muni Express route is Special Event Fare Service
?? Adult fare: $12 roundtrip
?? Youth/Senior/Disabled fare: $10 roundtrip
?? Muni monthly pass, Passport or CityPass Special Event Add-on fare: $8 roundtrip (adult and discount pass holders)

The Candlestick Shuttles are regular fare service, $2 adult per trip and $.75 for youth/senior/disabled per trip.

In order for Clipper customers with a monthly pass to obtain the add-on fare discount, at least $8 in cash value must be loaded to their Clipper cards prior to boarding the special event Muni service.

Customers can load their cards online at www.clippercard.com (please allow at least five days for processing), or at one of the participating Clipper vendors or ticket vending machines in a Muni Metro station. Please go to www.sfmta.com for fare details.

For service to and from the game, T Third customers should transfer at the Gilman/Paul station to the 87 Candlestick Shuttle, which operates directly between the station and Candlestick Park.

Muni customers may purchase their fare in advance. SFMTA staff will sell Muni fares from 2:20 p.m. at the following locations:

79X Candlestick Express Re-route

The southbound 79X Candlestick Express, which provides express service to the 49ers game from downtown, will be re-routed all season due to Central Subway construction on Stockton and 4th streets. Customers traveling to the game can board the 79X Candlestick Express at the following locations:

?? Sutter and Sansome

?? Sutter and Kearny

?? Mason and Geary
?? Cyril Magnin and Market
?? 5th Street and Mission
?? 5th Street and Howard
?? 5th Street and Folsom

The southbound buses will then travel express to Candlestick Park from 5th and Folsom. Northbound buses will remain on their regular route.

Sunday Streets Excelsior District
The final Sunday Streets event this year will be held this Sunday in the Excelsior District. The route includes the bustling outer Mission merchant corridor from Silver to Seneca avenues and connects with Balboa BART station half block from the southern start of the route at Seneca and San Jose avenues. The route will be available for recreational activities from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free to all participants.

The following street closures will be required from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.:

Mission Street between Seneca and Silver avenues
Seneca Avenue between San Jose Avenue and Mission Street
Intersections: Seneca Avenue, Kenny Alley, Russia Avenue, Leo Street, Ruth Street, Persia Avenue, Harrington Street, Santa Rosa Avenue, Excelsior Avenue, Francis Street, Cotter Street, Tingley Street at Mission Street; Delano and Cayuga avenues at Seneca Avenue

Cross traffic will be allowed on:

San Jose Avenue and Alemany Boulevard at Seneca Avenue
Norton Street, Brazil Avenue, Theresa Street, Avalon Avenue and Silver Avenue at Mission Street

Mission Street traffic will be diverted to Alemany Boulevard:
Northbound traffic at Geneva Avenue
Southbound traffic at Silver Avenue

Access to Safeway will only be allowed from the entrance at France Avenue and out from the exit at Italy Avenue.

The following Muni routes will be affected:

29 Sunset
49 Van Ness-Mission
52 Felton
