policeblotter_sfa.jpgA man whose death in San Francisco’s Dolores Heights neighborhood on Friday is considered suspicious by police has been identified by the medical examiner’s office as 44-year-old Damon Bruner.

The case was initially reported as a possible suicide at a home in the 900 block of Guerrero Street, which is near 21st Street, but authorities have since deemed Bruner’s death suspicious, police said.

The Police Department’s homicide detail is handling the investigation, and an autopsy will determine the cause of death, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said.

No other details about the case were being released today, Esparza said.
