A bicyclist was taken to a hospital after she was struck by a Lincoln Town Car near San Francisco’s Panhandle Tuesday evening, police said.
The collision was reported at 6:17 p.m. near the corner of Fell and Ashbury streets, Officer Carlos Manfredi said.
The victim, a woman between 20 and 30 years old, was on the ground when police arrived but still breathing. She was transported to a hospital and her condition is unknown tonight.
The driver stopped at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, Manfredi said.
A mangled bike remained at the scene as police investigated, and the Town Car’s front end and windshield were damaged.
