One person was injured in a crash involving a San Francisco Municipal Railway light-rail vehicle near AT&T Park this morning, a Muni spokesman said.

A pickup truck and a Muni T-Third train collided at about 7:25 a.m. at Third and King streets, Muni spokesman Paul Rose said.

San Francisco police Officer Gordon Shyy said it appears the truck was turning left from King Street onto Third Street when the collision occurred.

One passenger on the train suffered minor injuries, Rose said.

That person was taken to a hospital for treatment, according to a fire department employee.

The driver of the pickup cooperated with police, Shyy said.

Both inbound and outbound T-Third and N-Judah service was disrupted as the train was cleared from the tracks, Rose said. Service resumed at about 8:40 a.m., he said.

Bus shuttles were set up during the service disruption.

The extent of damage to the train has not yet been determined, Rose said.
