Komen 3-Day Walk will start with a camp at the San Francisco Gaelic Athletic Field on Treasure Island, followed by a three-day walk beginning on Friday and the closing ceremony will take place on Sunday.

From 6 a.m., Thursday until midnight, Sunday:
Avenues “H” and “I” between 11th and 13th streets on Treasure Island.

From 3 p.m., Saturday to 8 p.m., Sunday:
?? Grove Street between Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place and Larkin Street

From 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday:
Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place between McAllister and Grove streets
Fulton Street between Larkin and Hyde streets

From 4 to 7 p.m., Sunday:
?? Southbound Larkin Street between Hayes and McAllister streets

The following Muni routes will be affected:

108 Treasure Island

Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival
The 17th annual Ghirardelli Chocolate Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. each day.

The following street closures will be required from 12 a.m., Saturday to midnight, Sunday:

?? Beach Street between Larkin and Polk streets

?? Polk Street between North Point and Beach streets

The 19 Polk Muni route will be affected.

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
On Sunday the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure will take place along The Embarcadero beginning at 9 a.m.

The following street closures will be required:

From 7:30 to 10:30 a.m.:
Two easterly traffic lanes on 3rd Street between King Street and Terry A. Francois Boulevard
Terry A. Francois Boulevard between 3rd and Mission Rock streets
Easterly traffic and bike lanes on eastbound King Street between 2nd and 3rd streets

From 8:40 to 9:40 a.m.:
Northbound Embarcadero between Washington and King streets

From 9:40 to 11 a.m.:
Easterly traffic, parking and bike lanes on northbound Embarcadero between Washington and King streets

Local access to Piers 48 and 50 will be allowed during the street closure.

Although one lane on northbound Embarcadero traffic will open after 9:40 a.m., motorists in the area are encouraged to continue detouring until the end of the race due to traffic congestion.

No Muni lines or routes will be affected.

Inner Sunset Sundays
On Sunday the Inner Sunset Sundays will take place on Irving Street from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Irving Street between 9th and 11th avenues will be closed from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Heavy ridership is expected on Muni bus line and route around the event area.

Sunday Streets Western Addition
The ninth of 10 Sunday Streets events will be held this Sunday in the three distinct neighborhoods in the Western Addition: Fillmore Street, Alamo Square and North Panhandle.

The route connects with the Panhandle multi-use path at Central Avenue, traveling through the North Panhandle neighborhood along Central Avenue, Grove, Baker to Fulton streets where it continues past Alamo Square Park and the iconic Painted Ladies Victorian row houses.

It will then connect to the Fillmore merchant corridor from Fulton Street to Geary Boulevard. The route will be available for recreational activities from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is free to all participants.

The headquarters for the event will be located at the Panhandle on Fell Street between Central Avenue and Baker Street, where participants can get details about activities along the event route as well as free bike rentals.

The following street closures will be required from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

?? Fillmore Street between Fulton Street and Geary Boulevard
?? Fulton Street between Fillmore and Baker streets
?? Baker Street between McAllister and Grove streets
?? Grove Street between Broderick Street and Central Avenue
?? Central Avenue between Grove and Fell streets
?? O’Farrell Street between Fillmore and Steiner streets
?? Intersections: Central Avenue, Lyon and Baker streets at Grove Street; Baker, Broderick, Scott, Pierce and Filmore streets at Fulton Street; Golden Gate Avenue, Ellis and O’Farrell streets at Fillmore Street

Cross Traffic will be allowed on Eddy, Turk and McAllister streets at Fillmore Street as well as on Steiner and Divisadero streets at Fulton Street

Traffic will be controlled by Parking Control Officers and San Francisco police officers.

The following Muni routes will be affected:

?? 21 Hayes
?? 22 Fillmore
?? 24 Divisadero
?? 31 Balboa
?? 33 Stanyan
?? 38 Geary
?? 71 Haight-Noriega

San Francisco Giants Baseball Game
From Friday to Sunday the San Francisco Giants will host the first of three games with the Los Angeles Dodgers at AT&T Park. First pitch of each game is scheduled for 7:15 p.m., Friday; 1:05 p.m., Saturday and 5:05 p.m., Sunday.

Heavy traffic is expected both before and after the games. Game attendees and those traveling in the area are encouraged to take public transit.
