A San Francisco teen has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a Richmond man, San Francisco police said Saturday evening.

At 1:30 a.m. Saturday, 18-year-old Richmond man Demariee Lewis was shot near the intersection of Osceola Lane and La Salle Avenue, near Hilltop Park.

He was declared dead at the scene.

The 17-year-old man was detained in the Bayview District Saturday evening in connection with the homicide, and was booked into the Juvenile Justice Center, according to SFPD spokesperson Officer Carlos Manfredi.
