Officers responded to Sixth and Market streets at 7:21 p.m. after receiving reports of an argument there, Officer Gordon Shyy said.

When they arrived, police found a 24-year-old man who had been stabbed in the leg. He was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered to be life-threatening.

Police detained a possible suspect at the scene for questioning, however the victim did not identify the person detained by police as the assailant so the suspect was released.

No suspects are in custody for the stabbing, Shyy said.
