policeblotter_sfa.jpgAn elderly man was injured in a shooting in San Francisco’s Bayview District on Sunday morning, police said.

The shooting was reported at 10:44 a.m. near the intersection of La Salle Avenue and Newhall Street.

The 75-year-old victim was walking when he was shot in the groin area. He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which are not considered life-threatening, according to police.

The suspects, three men believed to be in their 20s, had not been found as of this morning, police said.
