richardson.jpgIn a statement sent to media Monday evening, SFPD are asking for the public’s help in determining who killed a young man on a busy San Francisco thoroughfare in April.

As previously reported, on April 2 at 10:30 PM 21-year-old Lawrence Richardson (pictured to the right) was shot multiple times and killed while he was leaving a corner grocery store on Divisadero and Eddy St.

Richardson leaves behind his father, mother, other family members and friends, as well as a one year old baby daughter.

SFPD is still seeking information on this homicide from witnesses and those with any knowledge that can help identify Richardson’s killer.

Police believe there was more than one person involved in the shooting, and investigators are seeking possible witnesses to the crime or anyone with information that may lead to arrests in the case.

If you have any information, contact Inspectors Velarde, Dedet, or Sgt. Warnke of the SFPD Homicide Detail at (415) 553-1145 (weekdays, 8 AM to 5 PM).

For anything after hours call SFPD’s Operations Center at (415) 553-1071 or use their anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 os send a tip by text message to TIP411 and start the message with “SFPD.”
