shooting_nighttime.jpgA woman was wounded in a shooting in San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood on Saturday night, a police spokesman said.

Officers responded to a report of gunfire near Eddy and Buchanan streets just after 11 p.m., Officer Gordon Shyy said.

Police found a woman who had been shot in the leg by an unknown male suspect, Shyy said.

She was taken to a hospital and was expected to survive the injury.

The victim was uncooperative with police, Shyy said.
