On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the Outside Lands Music Festival will be held in Golden Gate Park from noon to 10 p.m. An attendance of 60,000 participants is expected each day.

The following Muni lines and routes will be affected:

?? N Judah
?? 5 Fulton
?? 28 19th Avenue
?? 29 Sunset
?? 44 O’Shaughnessy
?? 71 Haight-Noriega

Due to increased ridership for this event as well as others around the city, concert patrons should allow extra travel time on the N Judah and all bus lines serving Golden Gate Park. Traffic in the area will also be heavy.

Monitored bicycle parking will be provided.

To help shorten delays, Muni customers may purchase their fare in advance. SFMTA staff will sell Muni fares from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day at the following locations:

?? Caltrain Station at 4th and King streets
?? Civic Center Muni/BART Station

The private Outside Lands shuttle service has sold out, will run between 11 a.m. and midnight each day from the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium to the event venue.

Muni Service
Pre-concert
Concert patrons are encouraged to allow plenty of travel time. Gates will open at 11 a.m. before the first concert each day.

The SFMTA will supplement service on the 5 Fulton with the 5L Fulton Limited special bus service for before and after concert from McAllister Street between Charles J. Brenham Place (7th Street north of Market) and Jones Street (near the Civic Center Muni/BART Station) to Fulton Street at 25th Avenue.

Pre-concert: Friday
The 5L Fulton Limited special bus service will be in place from approximately 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and from approximately from 6:30 until 8 p.m. Pre-event service, one-way westbound, will proceed to 25th Avenue making local from Jones Street to Van Ness Avenue, and then stopping at Fillmore Street, Divisadero Street, Masonic Avenue, Stanyan Street, 8th Avenue and Park Presidio Boulevard.

Post-concert: Friday Night
After the concert, the 5L Fulton Limited special bus service will be in place from approximately 8 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. Post-event service, one-way eastbound, will depart from either 30th or 25th avenue and then proceed to stops at Park Presidio Boulevard, 8th Avenue, Arguello Boulevard, Masonic Avenue, Divisadero Street, Fillmore Street, Van Ness Avenue and make local stops to Jones Street.

On Friday night only, Nx Judah Express bus service will also operate from approximately 6:30 until 11:30 p.m.

Boarding locations:

5L Fulton Limited – Fulton Street at 30th Avenue and Fulton Street at 25th Avenue
Nx Judah Express – Eastbound service only from Judah Street and Sunset Boulevard to Sansome and Sutter streets. Local stops until 19th Avenue, then express service to downtown

Pre-concert: Saturday and Sunday
The 5L Fulton Limited special bus service will be in place from approximately 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. It will operate along the same route as Friday.

Post-concert: Saturday and Sunday
After the concert, the 5L Fulton Limited special bus service will be in place from approximately 8 p.m. until 11:30 p.m. It will return customers to McAllister and Jones streets along the same route as Friday night.

Post-concert: Saturday and Sunday continued
Additional light rail service will operate on the N Line from approximately 10 until 11:30 p.m.

Boarding locations:

5L Fulton Limited – Fulton Street at 30th Avenue and Fulton Street at 25th Avenue
N Judah – Judah Street at Sunset Boulevard. N Owl bus service will be available all night after N Judah streetcar service ends.

The last bus will depart from these locations at 11:30 p.m. SFMTA staff will be on site to direct customers.

49ers Football Game
The San Francisco 49ers will host their first home pre-season game on Friday against the Minnesota Vikings starting at 6 p.m. at Candlestick Park.

Motorists should expect delays on all bridges and freeways leading into San Francisco for at least two hours before the start of the game and for at least two hours after the end of the game. To avoid congestions around the event venue, motorists going to the ball game may consider using I-280 freeway instead of US 101. Fans attending the games are encouraged to take public transportation.

San Francisco Giants Baseball Game

From Friday through Wednesday the San Francisco Giants will host various games against the Colorado Rockies and the Washington Nationals at AT&T Park. The first pitch of each game is scheduled as follows:

Colorado Rockies: 7:15 p.m., Friday, 1:05 p.m., Saturday and Sunday each day

Washington Nationals: 7:15 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, 12:15 p.m., Wednesday.

Heavy traffic is expected both before and after each game. Game attendees and those traveling in the area are encouraged to take public transit.

Festa Coloniale Italiana

On Saturday the Festa Coloniale Italiana will take place in North Beach between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. along Stockton Street between Union and Filbert streets.

Stockton Street between Union and Filbert streets will be closed from 6 a.m. to midnight, Saturday.

The 39-Coit Muni route will be affected.

Pistahan Parade and Festival
The 19th annual Pistahan Festival will take place at Yerba Buena Gardens on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. A parade in conjunction with the Pistahan Arts Festival will be held on Saturday.

On Saturday at 10 a.m., the opening ceremony will take place on Beale Street between Market and Mission streets. The following street closure will be required beginning at 8 a.m. for the ceremony and parade preparations:

At 11 a.m., the parade will start at Beale Street, proceed west on Market Street, south to 4th Street and into Yerba Buena Gardens, where the Pistahan Festival will be held on Saturday and Sunday.

Cross traffic will be allowed between parade units on an intermittent basis.

49ers Fan Fest
On Sunday the San Francisco’s 49er’s Fan Fest will take place between 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at Candlestick Park. It is anticipated an attendance of 30,000 football fans to participate in the event.

Motorists should expect heavy traffic around the event area.
