A man and woman were shot while standing on a street corner in San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood Thursday afternoon, a police spokesman said.
The shooting was reported at 12:32 p.m. by officers who heard shots in the area of Eddy and Steiner streets, police spokesman Officer Carlos Manfredi said.
The officers arrived to find the victims, both in their 20s, suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to San Francisco General Hospital, and their wounds are not considered life-threatening, Manfredi said.
No arrests had been made in the case as of this afternoon and no suspect information was available except that a vehicle may have been involved in the shooting, according to Manfredi.
