sfpd_arrestcuffs.jpgTwo people have been taken into custody in connection with a shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon in San Francisco’s Bayview District.

The 18-year-old male victim was shot twice on the corner of Third Street and Gilman Avenue around 3:45 p.m. by two suspects, according to police.

The suspects were seen fleeing into a home on the 1000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue, and police immediately surrounded the house.

After gaining permission from the resident to enter the home, two men who matched the descriptions of the suspects were taken into custody, police said. Several guns were also found during a search of the home.

The victim is reportedly in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

The gang task force is handling the investigation, and video surveillance footage of the incident is being reviewed, police said.

Our law enforcement leaning forward in a culture of crime absent of remorse, moral perception, peace, responsible conscience, and accountability.
We are grateful for a District Attorney to pursue that accountability. That the provision
of decency may thrive regardless of riff-raff liking it or not.
Thank you for what you do for the City and County of San Francisco.
In the City of my birth like Tony Bennett I left my heart there also.
