A teenage boy was killed in a motorcycle crash in San Francisco’s Silver Terrace neighborhood on Sunday evening, police said.
The crash was reported around 7 p.m. Sunday near Thornton Avenue and Venus Street.
The teen has been identified by the medical examiner’s office as 17-year-old John James.
James, a San Francisco resident, was driving the motorcycle and had a passenger on the bike when he collided with an SUV, police said.
