A report of a possible gas leak in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood this morning turned out to be a false alarm, a PG&E spokesman said.
A gas smell was reported around 9:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of Mission Street.
PG&E crews responded and surveyed the area but did not find any leaks, utility spokesman Paul Moreno said.
