taxi.jpgA man died after being hit by a taxi that allegedly ran a red light in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood on Saturday evening, police said.

The collision was reported at 6:54 p.m. at Eddy and Larkin streets.

Police said it appears the taxi driver ran a red light and struck another car and the pedestrian, a man in his 30s.

The man, whose name has not been released, was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he died, police said.

Police have not yet released more details about the crash.
